Assemblers
Long-term opportunities are available on the west side of Madison. Individuals will perform light electrical and mechanical assembly and testing of high technology scientific laboratory equipment. Must have the ability to read electrical drawings, use hand tools, and assemble small parts. Pay is $9.50 + /hr.

 

Delivery Driver
Employee with excellent communication and people skills is needed to deliver and explain proper use of medical equipment to patients at their homes. Employee will be organizing and prioritizing route delivery schedule. Must have valid driver's license, clear driving record and be able to lift 75 lbs. This temp to possible hire position starts at $9.50 /hr.

 

Driver

Position available for an individual to transport senior citizens to various Madison locations including the airport, day centers and other activities. Good driving record and customer service skills are required. Pay is $9.00 - $9.50 /hr.

 

Production Workers
Looking for self-motivated individuals with good mechanical skills. Employee will work in the press and bindery area of an east side printing company on the 2nd shift. Previous bindery experience is required and previous machine operations experience is preferred. This is a great opportunity for long-term employment. Pay is $8.50 - $10.00 /hr.

 

Warehouse Workers
Great opportunities in Madison and surrounding area for reliable individuals to perform full time warehouse work. Duties may include picking/packing orders, stocking and shipping/receiving. Forklift experience is helpful. 1st & 2nd shifts available. Long term and temporary opportunities are available. Pay is $8.00 - $9.00 /hr.

Current Temporary Opportunities:

Night Auditors
Employee will check guests in and out of hotel, perform end of day balances, laundry, general cleaning and light housekeeping as needed. Previous hotel experience is a plus. Must be self-motivated, reliable and able to use a computer and calculator effectively. Pay is $7.00 - $8.00/ hour. These are a third shift position located in Waunakee and West Madison.

Security Guard
Individual will perform security duties in an office setting including greeting visitors and issuing building and parking permits, routine building and ground security checks, reporting risk situations and providing information and assistance to visitors. This is a full-time temporary opening on the 1^st shift. Pay is $8.00 - $9.00 /hr.

 

Housekeepers
Employees needed to work in various motels and facilities housing senior citizens. Housekeeping duties will be performed including washing beds, cleaning guest rooms, and mopping and vacuuming. Two possible shifts are 7:00 am – 3:30 pm M-F and 7:00 am – 3:30 pm M-F and every other weekend. Part time shifts are also available. These are temporary positions, but longer-term work is a possibility. Pay is $7.25 - $8.00 /hr.

 

Warehouse Workers

Cashiers
Employees will be handling cash, check and credit card transactions in a fast paced environment. Experience using cash register and making change is required. Shifts vary at downtown and eastside locations. Pay is $7.50 - $8.25 /hr.

Mail Sorters
Employees will be sorting and metering mail, or helping with bulk mailings. Must be detail oriented and accurate. This is a downtown location on the bus line. Several shifts are available for these temporary positions. Pay is $7.60 /hr.

 

Custodians
Part-time hours available performing general clean up after UW Athletic Events at UW Fieldhouse, Camp Randall Stadium and Kohl Center.  Pay is $8.00 /hr.

 

Laborers
Several temporary positions in the Madison area are available. Individuals will help with grounds keeping, moving merchandise, or various other general labor responsibilities.
Pay is $7.00 - $7.50 /hr.
